Familiar and professional
Within the HACO Holding company there are six operating companies: HACO Ltd. Gümligen, NARIDA Ltd. Schwarzenburg, HACO ASIA PACIFIC Sdn Bhd, Malaysia, GFF Inc. Chicago, USA, Gutschermühle GmbH, Traismauer, Austria and Plochman Inc. Chicago, USA. These six subsidiaries are owned by approx. 200 shareholders with a strong emotional contact to HACO, mainly the heirs of the founding families of Sarasin, Bally, Ehinger and Oswald. The 480 employees in the Swiss factories Gümligen and Schwarzenburg, the 80 employees in Malaysia, the 70 employees in Austria and the 130 employees in the USA are extremely loyal to their employer.
Financially independent
The approx. 240 shareholders own 100% of the share capital of the six HACO companies. HACO is still a financially independent family-owned company and is not listed at the stock exchange. This independence is becoming increasingly important and is appreciated by our customers, many of whom have dealt with us for years. Only those companies that can determine their own course and are reliable can create a solid basis of trust on which long-term and successful cooperation possible. This is how we achieve annual sales of over 260 million Swiss Francs.
